Tour Plan
The day excursion begins at your Marrakech accommodation and departs for Essaouira at 8:30 a.m. First, we'll drive across the Haouz plains to Chichaoua village, where you may enjoy a cup of coffee before continuing to Sidi Mokhtar. On our way, we'll travel through an Argan tree forest where you might witness goats climbing the trees. We'll take some photos before moving on to Essaouira.
When we get at Essaouira, the first thing we do is head to the harbor, which features a fishing port and medieval Portuguese walls. There are still medieval military cannons positioned overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then, travel to the Medina (old city), which has well-preserved 18th-century defenses. La Scala, the Medina's prominent feature, was built to fight against foreign maritime invasions. We next go to Bab Laalouj (one of Essaouira's main gates) and the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter.
Various art galleries, souvenir shops, and thuya wood craft businesses along the path. Visit a neighborhood café for a delicious seafood lunch. Following that, we visit a Kasbah that was originally a military fortress. If you adore visiting the beach. Take a stroll around Mogador's stunning beach. You may sunbathe while watching amateur kitesurfers or windsurfers. Finally, arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon.
