When you arrive at Ait Benhaddou hamlet, you can take a short walk around the fortified kasbah. After that, drive to Ouarzazate and have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, you will continue driving south and cross the second pass, Tizi N'Tnifift at 1710m, and Ait Saoun village, the former route of caravans for Sahara traders coming from "Tombouktou". You will arrive at the first administrative center, "Agdez Village," which marks the source of Draa Valley, with its six successive palm groves (Mezguita palmary, Fezouata...) and Kasbahs, including the famous Tamnougalt Kasbah. You will continue through lunar landscapes and Pre-Saharan pathways until you reach Zagora, a little village. You'll ride a camel to the camp, where you'll have dinner and spend the night in nomadic tents.
We will take a brief off-road route through the village of Mhamid to return to Marrakech after witnessing the dawn over the sand dunes and having a hearty breakfast at the camp. From there, the journey continues through the Draa Valley. We will visit Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco's largest Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for lunch before driving to Marrakech through the breathtaking scenery and bends of the Atlas Mountains.
