itinerary:

Day one:

You will be collected from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:30 a.m. and embark on a journey through the High Atlas Mountains, traversing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach the Ait Benhaddou hamlet, known for its impressive walled ksar and beautiful Kasbahs. Upon arrival at Ait Benhaddou, you will have the opportunity to explore the fortified kasbah on foot. Following this visit, you will proceed to Ouarzazate for lunch at a local restaurant. After your meal, the journey continues southward as you cross the Tizi N’Tnifift Pass at an elevation of 1710 meters, passing through Ait Saoun village, which was historically a route for caravans traveling to the Sahara from “Tombouktou.” Your next stop will be Agdez Village, the first administrative center and the gateway to the Draa Valley, where you will see its six successive palm groves (including Mezguita and Fezouata) and notable Kasbahs, such as the renowned Tamnougalt Kasbah. The journey will take you through striking lunar landscapes and Pre-Saharan trails until you arrive in the small village of Zagora. Here, you will enjoy a camel ride to your camp, where dinner will be served, and you will spend the night in traditional nomadic tents.

Day two:

We will embark on a short off-road journey through the village of Mhamid as we make our way back to Marrakech, following a stunning sunrise over the sand dunes and enjoying a substantial breakfast at the camp. Our adventure will then lead us through the picturesque Draa Valley. We will stop for lunch at Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing our drive to Marrakech, taking in the stunning landscapes and winding roads of the Atlas Mountains.
